Mixing traditional and novel deli sandwiches and side, we keep our menu simple so we can focus on making everything the best it can be.
More than just a hot line, our kitchen team lovingly prepares sourdough breads, hand shaped pretzels, smoked & brined local meats, raw ferments, vinegar pickles and condiments.
Most of our foods take hours, days or even weeks to prepare. It's quite a journey from simple ingredients to your plate. We hope you enjoy the care in every bite!
My husband and I have ordered almost everything on the menu and everything is delicious. The ingredients are good quality and most everything, including the bread, is made in-house. My favorite item is the pecan pie. I cannot have enough of that pie!

The pig missile, a grilled brat served in a hollowed out fresh pretzel roll with sauerkraut and whole grain mustard is something you just have to order to believe just how creative and awesome it is!!!

The vibe [at Hillman Beer] is so Asheville but with amazing high dollar taste and not the prices. The food [at Rise Above Deli] is on point! Don’t negate it because you think it’s just beer (which they do so well!!!). The creative menu really does make this spot a lunch or early dinner destination. The staff will bend over backwards to make your visit a great one.

It is essential that you know everything is made on-site - the bread, the buns, the salads. And it makes a real difference. The burger buns today were epic.
